Street photography is a genre of photography that captures candid moments in public places. It comes in two types: photojournalism and documentary photography.

This type of street photography involves photographers capturing everyday life with their camera, rather than posing for a picture. They try to capture memories that most people would not notice or think about documenting; these could be anything from people walking down the street or sitting at bus stops, to activities such as eating, talking on the phone etc.

Street photographers are interested in capturing shots that tell stories without being staged or directed by an external source (such as an event organizer). They often take photos during unplanned moments when they see something interesting occur right before their eyes; however this doesn’t mean you have to be present at any given time to make great images!
